We have a daily practice of morning assembly & prayer before starting daily classes at 10 A.M.
Our students daily gathered them Infront of our main entrance of college or seminar hall-1 before entering their regular classes. According to daily schedule for assembly & prayer rotation wise two teaching faculty are assigned daily. They monitor the prayer programme. Sometimes some NSS unit members also join them to lead the session. Our students perform the National Anthem ensemble way in their own voice. All staffs of the college keep them stand up at that time to manifest their national sentiment and devotion. If there is any special mourning day or. Shahid Divas etc. On that day we keep silence for two minutes to pray for those great souls.
Few years ago, this approach of daily morning assembly & prayer practice had arisen from the faculty members on a Teachers Council meeting. Then on the spot, we decided to maintain & perform it as a regular practice. We thought that we have to inculcate the positive values of daily assembly & prayer among our students. Then we invite a all students gathering from the Officer-in-Charge at our seminar hall-1. Our esteemed faculties motivated the students positively to engage them in daily prayer session before entering regular classes. We tried to sensitized them with the knowledge of the positive outcome of the practice of daily assembly & prayer.
